A Perfect Circle is an American alternative rock/progressive rock supergroup formed by Tool's Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel. They are known for their atmospheric sound and notable albums including "Mer de Noms" (2000) and "Thirteenth Step" (2003).
